The incident happened on Thursday, Nov. 7 just before 9:45 a.m. at Metro-North's Croton-Harmon Railroad Yard in Croton-on-Hudson, according to the village's fire department.
The blaze happened when two workers lit a malfunctioning torch that caused a "brief but concussive flash fire," the department said.
The workers were taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
